The Our News Our Views Team is celebrating the forth anniversary of the newsletter this June! That’s forty editions all devised, designed, written and distributed by the team.
There have been lots of changes over the years, both in the look of the newsletter itself and the addition of a website, Facebook page and downloadable colour editions but some things don’t change: Our News Our Views remains a newsletter for adults with learning disabilities by adults with learning disabilities, put together by a team who value both the work and the newsletter itself.
Do sent the team your best wishes by leaving a comment here or by adding a message at our Facebook page.
Here’s to five years – cheers!

Meanwhile, back to the June edition – you’ll find that we’re celebrating four years of Our News Our Views, and have articles on the FIFA World Cup, The Horizon Centre in Ross-on-Wye, What’s On and all the regulars.
Hope you enjoy!

Happy reading everyone!
When we came in to work today we found a surprise waiting for us. It was a nicely wrapped present from Barrs Court School – what could it be?
When everyone arrived we opened it and found we had been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for helping with their Work Experience Programme.
We were delighted and excited to be recognised in this way and we would like to thank Barrs Court for choosing Our News Our Views for this honour.
The March colour edition is available to download from the link below. This month you can read about how computers can improve the lives of disabled people, some interesting facts in the Guinness Book of Records and Yvie George, who is leaving Houghton project.
