Stuck in the snow

Last week when I was not here at St Martin’s  church for Our News Our Views because of  the snow. It was quite deep and too hard to walk in.

I was at home with all the dogs, who were liking the snow and playing in it.

I’m pleased the snow has gone now and that everything is back to normal!

Sponsored Bike Challenge!

On the 11th January the Our News Our Views team took on their bike miles challenge in the Spin Room of the Point 4 in Hereford.DSC00284

We were aiming to cycle a total of 100 miles between the team. We weren’t sure how long this would take but the good news is we cycled 102 miles in an hour and a half!

Everybody did really well but there were some wobbly knees and sore bottoms the next morning!

We would really like to thank the Point 4 for providing the equipment.

When we’ve got all the sponsor money in we will let you know how much we have raised…

Team Update

We’re all head’s down and working hard at Our News Our Views HQ. It’s deadline day, which means we are finishing up all the work on our next edition, which is for November.

We are checking articles already written for any spelling mistakes or errors, making sure all the articles fit in and typing up any late items for inclusion. The editorial is being written ‘as we speak’ and later all the completed pages will be converted into PDF documents and sent to the printer.

ONOV Team

At the same time we are working on our December/January ‘bumper’ edition, getting as much done for that as possible. If you have any stories, items, dates for the diary for December and January, now is a good time to get them to us. You can contact us by phone or email or good old fashioned post – click here for details
